East Valley apartment and condo moves fall into two types: a gated community behind a guard shack, or a Tempe or Scottsdale mid-rise sharing one elevator. Victoria asks which one it is before pricing the job.
What gets cleared before move day
- Guard-shack notice and your visitor code filed ahead of time
- HOA move-in windows in Gilbert and Chandler booked the week you sign
- Certificate of insurance sent to the property manager on their form
- A reserved elevator hold for Tempe and Scottsdale mid-rises
- Corridor carpet and the elevator cab padded for the whole move
- Stairs, landings and narrow HOA gates counted at the quote, not guessed at
| Unit | Crew | Time on site |
|---|---|---|
| Studio | 2 | A morning |
| 1-bedroom | 2 | Half a day |
| 2-bedroom | 3 | Most of a day |
| 3-bedroom+ | 3-4 | A full day |
Caleb knows which gates need extra padding
Caleb Rourke has run enough East Valley communities to know which block-wall gate clips a wide dresser, decided before the truck backs in.
